Installation Guide
Before You Begin (All Panel Types)

Prepare the wall surface before starting:

  • Confirm the wall is clean, dry, and even.
  • Remove any dust, grease, protruding nails, or flaking paint.
  • Use a level and pencil to mark a straight starting line.
  • Lay the panels on the floor beforehand to preview the layout.
Recommended Tools
  • Tape measure
  • Level
  • Pencil or chalk line
  • Utility knife or fine-tooth saw
  • Clean cloth
  • Caulk gun (for adhesive method)
  • Rubber roller (for peel-and-stick method)
  • Brad nail gun (for nail method)
Method 1: Nail Gun Installation

Best suited for thicker or heavier panels such as wood or MDF. Requires a brad nail gun or finish nailer.

How to install:
  • Locate wall studs with a stud finder and mark their positions.
  • Begin at the bottom corner of the wall.
  • Align your first panel to the guideline you drew earlier.
  • Fasten the panel into the studs using a brad nail gun, spacing nails every 12–16".
  • Butt each subsequent panel tightly against the previous one and continue nailing.
  • Fill nail holes with wood filler or color-matched putty.
  • Optional: apply caulk between panel seams for a seamless look.

Tip: Leave a 1/8" expansion gap along the edges when working with wood-based panels.

Method 2: Peel-and-Stick Installation

Best suited for lightweight panels with factory-applied adhesive. Requires a clean, primed wall surface and a rubber roller.

How to install:
  • Wipe the wall thoroughly to remove all dust and grease. Let the surface dry completely.
  • Draw a level guideline to establish your starting row.
  • Peel the adhesive backing from the first panel.
  • Carefully position the panel against the wall and press it into place starting from one edge.
  • Roll a rubber roller across the entire surface to ensure even contact.
  • Fit each additional panel snugly against the previous one.

Tip: Avoid repositioning panels after initial contact — the adhesive bonds most securely on first application.

Method 3: Adhesive (Glue-On) Installation

Best suited for panels without factory adhesive, including solid PVC, composite, and acoustic panels. Requires construction adhesive or latex panel glue.

How to install:
  • Clean the wall surface thoroughly.
  • Apply adhesive in an S-shaped or zigzag pattern across the back of the panel.
  • Line up the panel with your guide marks and press it firmly against the wall.
  • Use painter's tape to hold the panel in position while the adhesive sets, if needed.
  • Repeat for remaining panels, maintaining even spacing and level alignment.
  • Immediately wipe away any excess adhesive with a damp cloth.

Tip: Allow the adhesive to cure for 24–48 hours before placing any weight or pressure on the panels.
