• Mounting Approach: All hardware in this collection mounts to the surface of doors, drawers, or cabinetry. Refer to your product's dimensions for precise placement and drilling locations.

What You Will Need

• Screwdriver (Phillips and flathead)
• Drill with assorted bits
• Allen key
• Tape measure and pencil

• Chisel (for mortise lock installations)

A. Cabinet Hardware (Pull Bars, Knobs, Drawer Pulls)

Step 1: Mark Your Drilling Points

Using a tape measure and pencil, mark the hole locations on the cabinet or drawer face. For consistent placement across multiple pieces, we recommend using a drilling template.

Step 2: Drill the Holes

Bore through the surface with a drill bit that matches the diameter of the included screws. Hold the drill perpendicular to the surface to avoid misaligned holes.

Step 3: Attach the Hardware

Thread the screws through the back of the cabinet or drawer and into the hardware on the front face. Snug the screws with a screwdriver — take care not to overtighten.

Step 4: Inspect the Alignment

Verify that every piece is straight and evenly spaced before you finish tightening.

B. Door Handle Hardware

B1: Thumb Lock or Dummy Handle

Step 1: Check the Door Orientation

Identify whether your door swings left or right. Adjust the handle direction accordingly.

Step 2: Mark the Mounting Height

Measure and mark your preferred handle height (standard placement is 36–38 inches from the floor to the center of the handle). Position the backing plate at that mark.

Step 3: Drill and Fasten

Drill pilot holes at the marked points and secure the backplate and handle with the included screws. Dummy handles install directly without any latch mechanism.

Step 4: Fit the Strike Plate (Thumb Lock Only)

Mark the latch contact point on the door frame. If necessary, chisel a shallow recess and screw the strike plate into position.

B2: Mortise Lock Handle

Step 1: Create the Mortise Pocket

Using a drill and chisel, carve a cavity into the door edge that matches the lock body dimensions. Follow the measurements provided with your hardware.

Step 2: Insert the Lock Body

Slide the lock mechanism into the mortise cavity and secure it with screws through the faceplate.

Step 3: Mount the Handles

Align the spindle through the lock body and attach handles on both sides. Tighten with a screwdriver or the included Allen key.

Step 4: Install the Cylinder (if applicable)

Insert the keyed cylinder into its designated slot. Fasten it with the cylinder screw accessible from the door edge.

Step 5: Secure the Strike Plate

Position the strike plate on the frame so it aligns with the latch. Screw it into place.

• Measure twice before you drill — precision prevents mistakes.
• Use a level to keep handles aligned across multiple doors or drawers.
• If you are unfamiliar with mortise installation, consider hiring a locksmith or professional installer.
• Test all moving parts for smooth operation before fully tightening fasteners.
• Dummy handles are decorative or pull-only — they do not engage any latch or lock mechanism.
