Loosen and remove the screws on your existing wall plate with a screwdriver. Gently lift the plate away from the wall.

Confirm that the underlying switches, dimmers, or outlets are properly seated and undamaged.

Step 4: Align the New Brass Plate

Position the brass plate over the existing devices, making sure every opening lines up cleanly with the controls underneath.

Step 5: Drive the Screws

Use the included brass screws to fasten the plate. Start each screw gently to avoid cross-threading.

Step 6: Avoid Over-Tightening

Snug the screws just enough to hold the plate flat against the wall. Excessive force may warp the brass or damage the wall surface.

Step 7: Verify the Fit

Confirm the plate sits flush and that all cutouts are properly aligned for easy access to switches or outlets.

Step 8: Restore the Power

Once everything is secure and properly positioned, turn the breaker back on.

Step 9: Polish the Finish

Wipe the brass surface with a soft cloth to remove any fingerprints or dust from handling.
